Privacy notice

How AVROQ handles the information you send through this website. Last updated 30 September 2026.

Who we are

This website is run by AVROQ (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2026/735641/07, based in South Africa. AVROQ is responsible for the personal information described here. You can contact us about it at hello@avroq.co.za.

What we collect

Only what you choose to send us through the contact form or by email: your name, your email address, your company's name and country if you give them, and your message.

This site doesn't use analytics, advertising trackers or cookies, and it doesn't load fonts or scripts from third parties. Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs, such as IP addresses and request times, to operate and secure the site.

Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry and, if you ask us to, to discuss and scope work with you. We don't add you to a mailing list, and we don't sell or share your details with anyone for marketing.

Who else handles it

The site is hosted by Vercel. When you send the contact form, your message passes through our own automation server (hosted by Hetzner in Finland) and is delivered to us by email through Google's Gmail and as a notification through Telegram. Each of these providers processes the information only to provide its service to us, and some of that processing may happen outside South Africa, including in the European Union and the United States.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence while the conversation is active. If no work follows, we delete it within twelve months. If we do work together, records are kept as long as the law requires for business and tax purposes.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Email hello@avroq.co.za and we'll respond within 30 days.

We follow South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). If you're in the UK or the European Union, you also have rights under the UK GDPR or the GDPR, including the right to complain to your data protection authority. In South Africa, that's the Information Regulator.
