Finance work we automate

Six builds with the same shape: what it does, what it connects to, and who delivers it. Each is scoped and quoted in writing before it starts.

Document intake

Receipts and invoices arrive as photos and email attachments, and someone has to read them, file them and key them in. Intake reads each document, pulls the supplier, date, amounts and tax from the image itself, files it against the right client or entity, and posts it into Xero or QuickBooks Online as a bill with the original attached.

Connects an email inbox or an upload link on one side to Xero or QuickBooks Online on the other. Built to your specification.

Matching

Records that describe the same thing often arrive in two shapes: a lender's confirmation and a broker's own deal record, an order and its invoice, a payout and its fees. A matching build pairs them on the rules you set, and puts what can't be paired in front of a person instead of hiding it.

Connects any two systems that hold the records, or a system and a spreadsheet. Built to your specification.

Multi-entity reporting

Consolidated figures across several Xero or QuickBooks files, read straight from the ledgers, with currency conversion and intercompany eliminations handled in the system instead of a workbook. The report is current when it's opened, not when someone last rebuilt it.

Connects each entity's ledger to one reporting layer. Built to your specification.

Dashboards

The numbers your accounting and operations tools already hold, in one place, refreshed without anyone exporting a spreadsheet: sales by channel, deal pipeline and funding status, the month's figures for owners and managers.

Connects the ledger and the operations tools to a dashboard your team opens. Built to your specification.

Chasing and reminders

Missing documents, deadlines and onboarding steps followed up on a schedule you set, in your firm's name and your own wording, stopping the moment the item arrives. The system keeps the one list of what's outstanding; the exceptions and the escalation stay with a person. Our article on document chasing sets out what such a workflow holds.

Connects your inbox, upload link or ledger to the reminder schedule. Built to your specification.

Client status view

For accounting practices running dozens of client files: one read-only screen showing which client is behind, which connection has gone stale and which month wants attention, without opening each file.

Connects every client's Xero or QuickBooks file, read-only, to one view. Built to your specification.

Who delivers these

For firms and businesses in the UK, the US and Canada, the front door is 1-Dash. In South Africa it's Qelo Systems. We don't do bank reconciliation, bank feeds, month-end close automation or Sage outside South Africa, and we say so before scoping if a build depends on one of them.
